4 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Billy Hamilton (hamstring) has been activated from the 10-day injured list. Hamilton had been sidelined since April 8 with a left hamstring strain. The speedster was getting some run in left field and could get some starts as a good defender on a team with poor defense. Hamilton's return could be bad news for managers who roster first baseman/outfielder Andrew Vaughn. Hamilton is best suited in deeper leagues for those seeking steals, but doesn't offer much value otherwise. He is 3-for-11 on the season with two stolen bases. Pitcher Alex McRae has been sent to the teams alternative training site to make room for the veteran.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
