4 years agoThe Chicago White Sox have agreed to a minor league deal with outfielder Billy Hamilton. Hamilton was recently cut by the division rival Cleveland Indians and the speedster will look to earn a spot on the White Sox bench this upcoming season. Outfielder Adam Engel will be the biggest competition for Hamilton, but it is likely that Engel has solidified himself as the clubs fourth outfielder for now. Hamilton spent this past season with the New York Mets and Chicago Cubs and hit a poor .125 with six stolen bases over 32 plate appearances in 31 games between the two clubs. Hamilton should be avoided in all formats for now.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
