7 years agoUpdating a previous report, Cincinnati Reds outfielder Billy Hamilton is dealing with a sprained left index finger, an injury which forced the Reds to scratch him before Tuesday's Cactus League game against the Cleveland Indians. Hamilton picked up the injury while taking batting practice on Tuesday. The injury doesn't appear to be serious, as Hamilton told reporters that his finger is feeling much better on Wednesday and that he expects to return to the lineup as soon as Thursday. Hamilton's return will push veteran outfielder Ben Revere back into a bench role.--Matt T - RotoBaller
