6 years agoToronto Blue Jays utility player Billy McKinney will bat seventh and start in right field against Matt Boyd and the Detroit Tigers on Friday night. Rowdy Tellez draws out of the lineup after going 0-for-2 with a walk on Opening Day. McKinney, a former top prospect, had stretches of success with the Jays last season. He posted a .260 average, three home runs and six RBI in 61 plate appearances in 2018. He can be avoided in all formats unless he carves out an everyday role. Tellez is the more intriguing fantasy asset, but he is not worthy of a pickup unless he gets consistent at-bats.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
