3 years agoCombining for the most significant strikes landed in a three-round featherweight bout on Saturday, Billy Quarantillo lost via unanimous decision to Shane Burgos (29-28, 29-28, 29-28). Statistically, the numbers were huge, with Quarantillo landing 164 significant strikes (196 total strikes) compared to Burgos' 193 significant strikes. Unfortunately for Quarantillo, he was unsuccessful in all 14 of his takedown tries. The loss puts him at 1-2 in his last three contests and 4-2 in his tenure in the UFC thus far.
