7 years agoDetroit Tigers relief pitcher Blaine Hardy will fill in for the injured Jordan Zimmermann (shoulder) on Sunday as the Tigers take on the Mariners. Detroit has a whole slew of injuries at the moment, and will turn to the bullpen arm rather than making an additional roster move for Sunday's game. Hardy has worked just 1 1/3 inning for the Tigers this year, but was 3-0 with an 0.74 ERA in four starts (seven games total) at Triple-A Toledo.
