7 years agoJacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles said he would like to return in 2018. "I would be thrilled to be able to stay here and play here. Hopefully that can happen," Bortles said. His fifth-year option is only guaranteed for injury, so there is a chance they could move on. If Bortles is back under center in 2018, he'll have to prove worth of a contract extension. The fourth-year quarterback looked better down the stretch and in the playoffs against the Steelers and Patriots, but he threw for just 3,687 yards during the regular season with 21 touchdowns, although he had a career-low 13 interceptions. Bortles can use his legs to extend plays, too, but he has looked like a glorified game manager most of the time and doesn't have much of a ceiling left at this point for fantasy owners. Bortles isn't on the QB1 radar going into next year in what could be his last in Jacksonville.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
