Blake Parker Earns Save In Second Straight Game
6 years agoMinnesota Twins reliever Blake Parker picked up his second save on Wednesday, pitching a scoreless one-third of an inning to preserve a 7-6 win over the Kansas City Royals. This goes down as Parker's second consecutive day with a save for his team. Fantasy owners should take note, as the Twins opened the season with three pitchers jockeying for save chances, including Parker, Trevor May and Taylor Rogers. Parker's save chances in two straight days may be an indication that he is pulling away from the pack. Savvy fantasy owners should be adding Parker off of waivers in case he becomes the team's primary ninth-inning option.
