Blake Snell Back On Track
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Blake Snell wiped away some concerns against the Diamondbacks on Monday by throwing six shutout innings with nine strikeouts, one hit, and no walks. Managers had some concern over his prior two outings in which he only pitched a total of 6 1/3 innings, allowed nine earned runs, and only struck out five. This performance should put those concerns to bed, as Snell was fresh off the injured list from a fractured toe. Snell should still be considered an elite fantasy option and will carry a 3.62 ERA into his next start against the Yankees. The Yankees have been solid despite their injuries, but there is no sitting Snell in any leagues.
