7 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Blake Snell (shoulder) played catch on Thursday and plans to increase the intensity and distance the next two days before throwing a bullpen session on Sunday. If that goes well, he could rejoin the rotation on Tuesday or Wednesday against the Angels. Snell is having an excellent season, going 12-5 with a 2.27 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 134 strikeouts in 119 innings over 20 starts.
