4 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Blake Snell was pulled after 4 ⅔ innings Friday against the Arizona Diamondbacks despite allowing zero runs. After fanning eight batters while permitting four hits and two free passes, the 28-year-old was noticeably irked as he was yanked from the 3-0 game. It was revealed later he was on a pitch count and was pulled after 86 tosses. The outcome is a disappointment for all Snell fantasy managers but the performance was surely encouraging. Snell's next chance will come Wednesday against the San Francisco Giants.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
