4 years agoSan Diego Padres starting pitcher Blake Snell held his opponents scoreless once again on Sunday, as he allowed just two hits and two walks while striking out three in 3 1/3 innings against the Angels. That's now 9 1/3 scoreless innings for Snell this spring, as he has now allowed just four hits and three walks while striking out seven in that span. He has a combined strikeout rate of 32.1 percent from 2018 through 2020 — the sixth-highest mark in the majors among pitchers with at least 50 starts in that span.
