4 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Blake Snell walked the yard on Friday, issuing six free passes over 4 ⅔ innings of work. The left-hander permitted just one hit, but was yanked after 95 pitches while struggling with three-ball counts all evening. He struck out five and allowed four earned runs. Through seven starts, Snell owns a 4.15 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 30 percent strikeout rate. However, with a poor 15 percent walk rate, the 28-year-old has yet to complete six frames in any outing. Still an attractive fantasy piece due to the whiffs and track record, Snell should be treated with caution next Wednesday against the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
