6 years agoBoston Red Sox catcher Blake Swihart is expected to be traded in the next 24 hours, according to president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski. He was designated for assignment earlier in the week, so Swihart's time on the Red Sox is coming to an end. He was once a top prospect, but has a .255/.314/.365 line over parts of five seasons. He only saw 29 at-bats with the Red Sox this season, but he could have fantasy value elsewhere.
