7 years agoBoston Red Sox catcher Blake Swihart (hamstring) will meet up with the team on Friday to take live batting practice on Friday. If all goes well, it appears that the team will activate Swihart from the disabled list next Tuesday when he's eligible. The 26-year-old has hit just .226 with one homer, six RBI and three steals in 115 at-bats this year and is more of a bench bat for the Red Sox.
