4 years agoWinnipeg Jets veteran winger Blake Wheeler will not accompany his team on their five-game road trip. The 34-year-old forward was elbowed in the head by The Senators Brady Tkachuk in Monday's contest. Wheeler's veteran presence will be missed on an important road trip for the Jets. He played in 39 Jets games the season, recording ten goals and adding 22 helpers.
