6 years agoThe Toronto Blue Jays put infielder Lourdes Gurriel (ankle) on the 10-day disabled list on Wednesday afternoon. Gurriel suffered a high ankle sprain last Sunday and is expected to miss anywhere from two-to-six weeks. This injury is incredibly unfortunate for Gurriel. He was arguably the hottest hitter in the entire league as he was riding an 11-game multi-hit streak before he went down. In deeper redraft leagues, he is probably worth holding onto, especially if the timetable for his return is only two weeks.
