3 years agoBoston Red Sox first baseman Bobby Dalbec drove in five runs Wednesday night against the Tampa Bay Rays, going 2-for-3 with a triple, two walks (one intentional), a hit-by-pitch, and two runs scored. The five RBI bring his season total to 46. Dalbec has been disappointing overall this year, with just a .676 OPS and 11 homers in 297 at-bats, and it appears his playing time will largely dry up when Kyle Schwarber is activated from the injured list. This performance could help earn him the occasional start against lefties, but he doesn't belong on fantasy rosters any longer.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
