Bobby Dalbec Drives In Two Thursday
4 years agoBoston Red Sox first baseman Bobby Dalbec has struggled mightily against right-handed pitching this year, slashing only .142/.209/.255 in 106 at-bats, but he drew the start against Zack Greinke and the Astros nonetheless and came through with a double, a single, and two RBI in five at-bats. With a much-stronger .859 OPS against lefties, Dalbec was in danger of falling into a strict platoon situation, but perhaps this performance will put that off for the time being. Dalbec's fantasy value would be severely limited by moving into such a role.
