3 years agoBoston Red Sox first baseman Bobby Dalbec had the game of his life Thursday night, going 3-for-4 with two home runs, three runs scored, and seven RBI against the Minnesota Twins. He's slashing .395/.477/.921 with five home runs and 19 RBI in his last 15 games, a time frame which, perhaps coincidentally, coincides with the suggestion that Kyle Schwarber could receive playing time at first base. If Dalbec is in the starting lineup regularly, he could be worth a roster spot, but as a platoon option he isn't nearly as useful to fantasy managers.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
