4 years agoBoston Red Sox first baseman Bobby Dalbec is back in the lineup on Tuesday after two straight days off, getting the start against Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Ryan Yarbrough. Dalbec looked overmatched in the weekend series against the Orioles, going 0-for-10 with five strikeouts. Red Sox manager Alex Cora said he didn't like the way Dalbec was swinging the bat at the end of the spring training, and that there were a few things he needed to work on before he returned to the Red Sox's lineup. With his all-or-nothing approach, it is inevitable that Dalbec will go through ebbs and flows, so he will get more than 10 at-bats to prove himself.--Daniel Fox
