Bobby Witt Jr. Back In Action Tuesday
2 years agoKansas City Royals rookie shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. (hand) is back at shortstop and is hitting second on Tuesday against the Chicago White Sox and right-hander Lucas Giolito. Witt sat out on Monday with a minor hand injury, but his fantasy managers will be able to get him back into their lineups on Tuesday. The 22-year-old has played in only five games since the All-Star break because of nagging injuries, and he's gone 5-for-19 (.263) with a homer, four RBI, three runs scored and three stolen bases in that time. Overall, the first-year MLB player is slashing .255/.299/.452 with 14 home runs, 51 RBI, 51 runs scored and 20 stolen bases. Get the youngster back in your lineups in single-year formats.
