3 years agoKansas City Royals infielder Bobby Witt Jr. logged his first career multi-hit game on Saturday. He also scored a run in the contest. It's a promising development for Witt Jr., who is batting .156 with a .182 on-base percentage in his first 33 career plate appearances in the Majors. One of the game's best prospects, the infielder likely won't struggle this much all season. The second-overall pick in the 2019 draft hit .290 with a .361 on-base percentage, 33 home runs, and 29 stolen bases in 564 combined plate appearances for Kansas City's Double-A and Triple-A affiliates last season. He also connected on three home runs, while hitting .406 with a .441 on-base percentage in 34 plate appearances in Spring Training earlier this year.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
