Bobby Witt Jr., Nick Pratto Appear Major League Ready
3 years agoKansas City Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. and first baseman Nick Pratto have been on fire in Triple-A and "look ready now" for the majors. Witt Jr. is slashing .299/.356/.628 with 12 doubles, 11 home runs, 29 RBI over 32 games in Triple-A. Royals general manager called Witt Jr. "the best player in all of minor league baseball right now." Pratto is slashing .281/.362/.669 with 10 doubles, 11 home runs, and 31 RBI over 32 games in Triple-A. He is having a nice bounce-back year after missing 2020 due to COVID-19. Both prospects continue to mash in Triple-A and look major league-ready, but the Royals aren't in any rush to promote either one of them. Witt Jr. and Pratto could get a September call-up and are worth stashing in redraft leagues if fantasy managers have the roster room.
