2 years agoKansas City Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. doubled thrice on Saturday, going 3-for-5 with two RBI and 2 runs scored. The stud rookie has been on a tear at the dish, going 10-for-23 with seven extra-base hits in his last five games. Witt Jr. got off to a disappointing start in April with a .558 OPS, but in May he is the owner of an impressive .852 OPS. This is more of what fantasy managers expected when they drafted him as a top 100 pick, and now that Witt Jr. has figured out major league pitching, expect that value to keep looking better.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
