2 years agoKansas City Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. (hamstring, hand) was hit by a pitch in the hand and forced to exit early during Sunday's game. Now, the Royals are going to play it safe and keep Witt out of the lineup for Monday's contest. He has been dealing with a hamstring issue as well, so the Royals don't want to risk it. This doesn't sound like the type of injury that is going to force Witt to the injured list. Fantasy managers should expect Witt back in the lineup within the next day or two.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
