3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Boston Scott, who had been playing exclusively on special teams up until Week 7, scored two touchdowns in a Week 8 blowout win over the Detroit Lions. Scott ran the ball 12 times for 60 yards, scoring from one yard and three yards out. The Eagles relied on the running game almost exclusively in this game, with quarterback Jalen Hurts completing only nine passes total. Scott was targeted once, but was unable to come up with the catch. Jordan Howard and Kenneth Gainwell were both also involved, but Scott looks likely to keep the lead role until Miles Sanders (ankle) returns from IR.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
