3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers pitcher Brad Boxberger (shoulder) exited Saturday's 7-4 win over the Reds with shoulder stiffness. He was removed from the game after serving up the game-tying homer to Reds infielder Jonathan India. The veteran reliever was charged with his second blown save of the season. According to manager Craig Counsell, he (Boxberger) was removed from the contest due to shoulder stiffness and that he's "day to day" right now. The 34-year-old owns a 3.03 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, and 48 strikeouts across 38 2/3 innings in 2021. Boxberger has fantasy value in league formats which reward "solds" (saves and holds) as the right-hander has racked up three saves and 12 holds on the year. The Brewers will provide a timeline for Boxberger after additional tests. Stay tuned.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
