7 years agoKansas City Chiefs assistant coach Brad Childress is planning to retire after 19 years in the NFL. Childress is best known for his role as the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings during 2006-2010. He went 39-35 with two division titles during his five seasons as head coach in Minnesota. Childress leaves the game with a ton of experience but is "at peace" with his decision. The Chiefs have now lost offensive coordinator Matt Nagy, who took the heading coaching position in Chicago, and Childress. It'll be interesting to see what the Chiefs plan to do in the offseason.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
