4 years agoBoston Bruins left wing Brad Marchand (hernia) is expected to play in the team's season opener on Thursday, despite missing practice the past two days. "He'll be back on the ice tomorrow," said Bruins general manager Don Sweeney on Tuesday. Marchand underwent sports-hernia surgery back in September. The team is being cautious with their star forward, and rightfully so. Over the past four seasons, Marchand ranks fifth in the entire NHL in total points.
