Brad Miller Doubles In Spring Training Game Monday
4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies first baseman/outfielder Brad Miller had an RBI double and scored a run in Spring Training action on Monday. Miller (oblique) was playing in his second Grapefruit League game as he seems to be on track for Opening Day. Miller is a key piece for the Phillies as a left-handed bat off the bench, but won't carry much weight in fantasy unless he finds a starting role. He's currently slated to back up at first base, third base, and left field, so a spot could open up for the 31-year-old as the season progresses. Last season with the Cardinals he hit a meager .232 in 41 games. Miller can safely be ignored in fantasy unless he finds a starting role.
