3 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Bradley Zimmer has been activated ahead of Sunday's game against the Texas Rangers. Zimmer was acquired by the Jays earlier in the week in a trade that sent right-hander Anthony Castro to the Cleveland Guardians. The 29-year-old outfielder was a former 1st round pick, but hasn't panned out in the big leagues. He is expected to get occasional starts against right-handed pitching. Zimmer isn't expected to do enough at the plate to warrant rostering. Infielder Gosuke Katoh has been optioned to the minors to make room for Zimmer on the roster.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
