Brady Singer Records 12 Punchouts In No-Decision
2 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Brady Singer was terrific on Saturday as he struck out a season-high 12 batters in his team's 6-3 win over the Rays. Although he allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits and two walks, he was saddled with a no-decision despite the excellent outing. After a rocky June, Singer has pitched to a 2.66 ERA through four July starts as he sits with a serviceable 3.82 ERA and 1.21 WHIP on the year. The 25-year-old is also striking out more than a batter per inning with 81 K through 77 2/3 IP, but his 4-3 record on the last place Royals is hindering his overall fantasy value. Singer is worth streaming in certain matchups, however, he's better off on fantasy benches for his upcoming start versus the Yankees.
