Brady Singer Strikes Out 10 Yankees In No-Decision
2 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Brady Singer was outstanding on Thursday as he held the Yankees to one hit over seven scoreless frames. Unfortunately, his offense couldn't muster up any support, and he settled for a no-decision in what ended up being a 1-0 walk-off win for New York. Singer struck out 10 on the evening and walked just one batter in his 99-pitch effort, giving him a superb 22/3 K/BB over his last two games combined. The 25-year-old is starting to put it together in his third big-league season, as he currently sits with a 3.51 ERA and 1.13 WHIP with 91 K's through 84 2/3 innings of work. Singer will look to keep up his momentum for his next scheduled start versus the White Sox next week.
