6 years agoOttawa Senators left wing Brady Tkachuk netted his third goal of the season to open the scoring in the third period in Monday's 4-1 victory against the Dallas Stars. The goal stood up as the game-winning tally, his first such goal in the NHL. The No. 4 overall pick in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft was scoreless in his debut in Boston on Oct. 8, but he has cobbled together a three-game point streak with three goals and six points with a stellar plus-6 rating. A lot of the Calder Trophy predictions centered on Rasmus Dahlin, Andrei Svechnikov, Elias Pettersson, etc. However, Tkachuk has the opportunity to put up big numbers in Canada's capital city in his premier season.--Daniel Dobish
