6 years agoOttawa Senators left wing Brady Tkachuk had a big night in Thursday's 5-2 loss to Florida, tying two franchise records. He had 12 shots in the game, which ties him with Jason York for most in a game by a Senators player, and he also netted his 20th goal of the season, which matches Alexandre Daigle for most goals in a season by a teenager. Tkachuk is one of only six players since 1959-60 to register at least 12 shots in a game. Among rookies, only Elias Pettersson has netted more goals (27) and sitting on 40 points, Tkachuk has a decent chance to finish as this season's second-best scoring rookie as well.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
