Brandin Cooks Has Quiet Week 3
4 years agoHouston Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks caught three passes for 23 yards in Sunday's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was targeted five times. After his 95-yard Week 2 effort, it looked like Cooks was trending upwards, but the Texans offense might just be too volatile on a week-to-week basis. Cooks is an extremely talented player who can make waves in the deep game, but he can also be virtually shut out on the wrong night. Cooks is best viewed as a WR4 with some upside at this point, though maybe things will trend up as Houston starts to play some easier games.
