Brandin Cooks Positioned For Strong Week 6
4 years ago2020 has been a weird ride for Houston Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks. He bottomed out in Week 4, failing to record a single reception. But the team moved on from head coach Bill O'Brien after that game, and in the team's first appearance post-O'Brien, Cooks was targeted a season-high 12 times, catching eight of them for 161 yards and a touchdown. It seems like Cooks is finally on track to be a key piece of this offense. Against a Titans Defense that is susceptible to big days from receivers, Cooks has plenty of upside as a WR3 play, though we might want to see another game or two of production before we start to think of him as a weekly must-start.
