Brandin Cooks Role As Starting Receiver Is Safe
3 years agoHouston Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks is set to start for the Texans this season, according to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle. McClain believes that Cooks is the only Texans receiver who enters training camp with a starting role in 2021 locked in. His fantasy ADP has reflected that all offseason, with Cooks being drafted in the ninth round in 12-team leagues while no other Texans receiver is getting consistently taken in redraft leagues. Cooks played 15 games last season, catching 81 passes for 1,150 years and six touchdowns. His production will likely dip some with Tyrod Taylor throwing him the football, but Cooks is still capable of putting up WR2 numbers, though fantasy managers should go into the season expecting WR3 production from Cooks.
