2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers receiver Brandon Aiyuk hauled in two of two targets for 40 yards in the Niners' 19-10 loss to the Chicago Bears. He added one carry for seven yards. His receiving numbers were second on the team in both yardage and receptions. The 49ers passing game struggled, as QB Trey Lance completed less than half of his attempts. Coach Kyle Shanahan relied on running the ball 37 times versus throwing the ball just 28 times. With the 49ers' lack of passing volume, Aiyuk may struggle to put up start-worthy numbers throughout the season.
