3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk (hamstring) did not participate in Wednesday's practice. He missed the preseason finale due to a "slight hamstring issue." According to head coach Kyle Shanahan, Aiyuk is expected to be ready for Week 1's matchup against the Detroit Lions. The 23-year-old led the 49ers with 60 catches in his rookie season. He averaged 9.0 air yards per target and owned 23% of the team's target shares in 2020. Aiyuk should be all systems go for Week 1 and is currently being drafted as a low-end WR2.
