Brandon Aiyuk Finishes With One Reception In Week 4 Loss

3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk caught one of his three targets for a 15-yard reception during Sunday's 28-21 Week 4 loss at home to the Seattle Seahawks. The second-year wideout has struggled for most of the 2021 season, and it didn't improve against the Seahawks, where he only saw three targets, less than fullback Kyle Juszcyzk and veteran wideout Mohamed Sanu. Fantasy managers who drafted Aiyuk should adjust their expectations for Aiyuk, as wide receiver Deebo Samuel dominates within the team's passing attack, leaving Aiyuk as a mere afterthought in the offense. Week 5 is a road contest against the undefeated Arizona Cardinals, which is a more difficult matchup for receivers than past seasons.
