2 years agoCincinnati Bengals quarterback Brandon Allen threw for 130 yards off 11-for-15 passing during the preseason victory over the Los Angeles Rams. Allen played most of the first half on Saturday night before handing the keys over to Jake Browning, who completed 19 of his 24 passes for 173 yards and a touchdown, connecting with tight end Justin Rigg late in the game to secure the win. Although Browning has had a better preseason, Allen will probably retain his role as Joe Burrow's primary backup. While that won't mean anything for managers heading into the new year, he may start at some point if Burrow misses time. If that's the case, Allen still has a lot to prove on the fantasy end, albeit he'll have value in multi-quarterback and Superflex formats.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
