5 years agoSan Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt was a late scratch for Sunday's tilt against Walker Buehler and the Dodgers. He's dealing with a stomach illness as Evan Longoria will take his spot in the lineup, and Pablo Sandoval slides across the diamond to start at first. Belt has quietly put up a decent year for the Giants hitting .249 with nine homers, 30 runs, and 29 RBI. With a deep player pool at first base, he doesn't offer much fantasy appeal in anything other than deep mixed and NL-only leagues.
