3 years agoSan Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt (knee) is opting to rehab his knee rather than undergo surgery. The 33-year-old suffered "minimal structural damage" in his right knee while running the bases last Wednesday. There is currently no timetable for his return. Belt would have been out an estimated 8-to-12 weeks had he undergone surgery. All three doctors he visited gave him the opinion to rehab his knee. Belt is slashing .253/.363/.512 with 11 homers, 28 RBI, and 30 runs scored across 201 plate appearances in 2021. Fantasy managers should continue to stash Belt on the injured list for now.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
