3 years agoSan Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt (leg) exited Wednesday's matchup with the Angels due to an apparent leg injury, according to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. Belt appeared to have injured himself at some point while trying to score from first on a two-out single in the top of the eighth inning. There's no word yet on what the injury is or its severity, but for now managers should consider him day-to-day. Over 54 games this season, Belt is slashing .253/.365/.518 with 11 homers, 28 RBI and 30 runs scored, making him a solid play in most formats.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
