4 years agoSan Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt had a big day at the plate Saturday, going 2-for-2 with a home run, a walk, a hit-by-pitch, one RBI, and two runs scored. By reaching base in all four plate appearances, Belt raised his OBP to .358. The solo home run was his seventh of the year, three of which have come in the last seven games. Belt is now slashing an excellent .292/.393/.667 in the last week. With Belt's barrel rate in the 99th percentile, he should continue to produce, and is an even more valuable fantasy asset in OBP leagues, where his 93rd percentile walk rate and 92nd percentile chase rate give him a very safe floor.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
