Brandon Belt Not In Starting Lineup Thursday
3 years agoSan Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt is not in the starting lineup on Thursday night. This appears to just be a night off for Belt, who has started in seven straight games for San Francisco. In an injury-marred season, Belt has still managed to put up solid numbers with a .242 average, .896 OPS, 19 homers, three steals, 40 RBI and 40 runs scored over 72 games. With Belt riding the bench Thursday night, Wilmer Flores will get the start at first and bat fifth in the order against the Mets.
