3 years agoSan Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt (neck) was a late scratch from Monday's game against the Colorado Rockies. Belt left Saturday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals with neck stiffness and is considered day-to-day. He was originally slated to return to action on Monday against Colorado but apparently his neck is still giving him trouble. He will be replaced at first base by Darin Ruf. Fantasy gamers rostering Belt will want to make sure he isn't in their starting lineups before Monday night's first pitch.--Matt T - RotoBaller
