3 years agoSan Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt (oblique) is expected to be activated from the injured list for the team's upcoming road trip against the Rangers Tuesday, per NBC Sports' Alex Pavlovic. Belt's return will be a welcome site for the Giants, who are currently dealing with a host of injuries. The veteran hasn't hit for much average this season but does have a .474 slugging percentage with eight home runs and 21 RBI. The Giants will have the option of starting Belt at designated hitter to ease him in if they wish, given that the Giants will be in interleague play.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
